Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Part 5 Review

Summary: An epic conclusion that will leave every sci-fi lover wanting to play Halo 4.

It’s finally here! The end of the beginning has arrived with Part 5 of the Halo: Forward Unto Dawn webseries that is kicking off the launch of 343i’s Halo 4 on November 6th. Here it is in all of it’s glory:

We have seen the different species of the Covenant through various live action trailers for previous Halo titles and now FUD has effectively done what no other has done before: introduced a CGI Hunter. The animation for this formidable enemy is just stunning.

Hastati Squad has been through quite a bit the past 5 weeks. I believe the events that were unfolded have brought our young hero, Cadet Thomas Lasky from a confused cadet that doesn’t see the point in war, to a young soldier ready to do what is necessary to save himself, his fellow squad mates, and mankind.

Showing Cortana in the end ready to thaw the Master Chief from his cryo-sleep makes me absolutely restless for Halo 4. November 6th cannot get here soon enough.
