Fable: The Journey Demo Released
Fable: The Journey Demo demo has been released today but made only available to Xbox Live Gold members. It claims to have been been “Built from the ground up for Kinect for Xbox 360, Fable: The Journey is a whole new way to experience the deep storyline, heart-pounding action, and picturesque world of Albion that fans have come to know and love in the beloved Fable franchise,”. And Lionhead have said that if you currently own a Kinect or plan to get one in the near future then “this is the game to look out for.”.
Now, if like me and you are feeling rather apprehensive about this announcement then I would not blame you at all (If like me you had played through the first Fable game and loved it thoroughly only to be left feeling slightly let down by Fable 2 and Fable 3). Then of course is the feeling of doom that the fact that this will be a motion based games gives as I have yet to find one that is both enjoyable and has that replay value. There are no motion game classics!
However it will be interesting to see how well this game fares once released as I live in hope that one day the Fable franchise may produce another stand out game to rival the original. And the kid inside me also years for a an awesome and unforgettable motion based game.
